Download the rack advisor and it can tell you the power requirements, weight and heat production.

The rack adviser allows you to select a rack (even if you don't use a Dell rack, the numbers obviously aren't determined by the rack but by the equipment mounted in it. Then you can drag and drop servers and equipment in there and at the bottom I think it is it will tell you the power consumption, weight and heat production.

I donwloaded the Rack Advisor 5.10, but it doesn't have the PowerEdge 1750 in it...  Also how do I see the power load?

Hello:

You may want to try Dell's new Product Configuration Tool.  It is a new tool brought to you by Dell to help customers determine their product configuration and power needs.  It can be found here at the address below:

http://www1.us.dell.com/content/topics/topic.aspx/global/products/pedge/topics/en/config_calculator?c=us&cs=555&l=en&s=biz

While the calculator does not have the older systems such as the PE2600 or the PE6400 on it, it does have the newer ones you listed (i.e. PE 2850, PE1850, and PE1750).  We certainly hope that this helps.  If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Regards,
The Dell Rack Team
