PowerEdge R710 server RAM issues
We purchased used Prologic R710 servers with RAM installed. When we try and view anything on the servers we do not have video. We took the memory sticks out completely and one by one added them back in. We found that the A7 stick was stopping the monitor from showing video on the front and rear ports. When we leave the RAM A7 and B7 out the server boots and displays video just fine with no error messages.

I would recommend testing the DIMM in another slot, ideally in another bank, such as A1 or B1. This should allow you to confirm the DIMM as bad, or if it's the slot.
