R720 will not boot/slow boot
Hey Yall,
Ive had one of my R720s fail after my Tripplite UPS failed/went into bypass mode.
Idrac is intermittently unreachable and I performed a power flea drain and was able to get the server to start the boot process, however it is taking an incredibly long time for it to boot.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

As there is a power failure there could be some hardware issues which is causing the server to boot slow. You can try "Bring the server to the minimum configuration for the POST" and see whether the system is booting fast. If the system is not still booting fast then the issue could be with motherboard or CPU. You can try with another CPU or Memory in this case. If system is booting fast with minimum configuration then you can add other component one by one and see which component causing the issue.
