RAM Config R815

Question

Hello Community, I think this is an easy one but my Google fu is failing me. I have an R815 with four 6378 processors running 128GB RAM (8x16GB, 2 per processor). I was given a 256GB RAM kit (8x32GB), when I try to install it inplace of the 16 sticks the server boots to Configuring Memory, Please Wait. Then appears to reset and the screen reappears saying Configuring Memory, Retry. The only thing I can find about running 32GB sticks in the R815 is a memory config doc that shows the 32GB sticks only being used in the 512 or 1024 configurations. Am I reading that right? Can you not run 256GB in the R815 with 32GB sticks? Thanks for the help!

For anyone else who finds this with the same question. I have a revision II board that is having the issue accepting 32GB of RAM and I will update the thread with any findings.
