Service tag is 7 character string, used to come in a white sticker with barcode. You can also get service tag of the server from BIOS or RAC if service tag sticker is not available on the server

There should be a black sticker as well with the Service Tag on it.
You can also get it in Windows:
wmic bios get serialnumber

Thanks to ShineK and theflash1932. They have provided you good information.
On these there is not a pull out tab. Please check these locations.
Service tag location: PE2950
Service Tag bar code sticker on the back of the computer
Alternately you can open Administrator Command Prompt. Type the command: WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER, then press enter.
Service tag location: PS4100
The service tag label for the 2U array chassis is on the right bezel latch block.
The service tag label for the 4U array chassis is on the back inside surface near PSU1.
Alternately find the Dell EqualLogic service tag in Group Manager WEB console
