Go to SolutionTPM 2.0 for Dell PowerEdge R540 platform
Hello, we have a PowerEdge R540 and it does not contain a Trusted Platform Module. My understanding is that a TPM module can be installed separately, but I fail to verify the correct Dell part #. The closes I found is SKU 461-AAEN, Part # 1MW70, included in kit J0KPW
Further server details:
210-ALZH, PowerEdge R540 Server;
329-BFBK, PowerEdge R540 MLK Motherboard, V2;
486-42526, PER5402a

The 461-AAEN kit is indeed the kit you would need for the R540s TPM 2.0.
