Windows Server cluster storage replication between VRTX unit

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a Dell VRTX unit, running 2 Windows Server 2012 R2 (soon to be 2016) failover clusters. I'll soon be getting a 2nd unit which I'll be configuring in a similar fashion

Does anyone know if it would be possible to use cluster to cluster storage replication between a cluster in the first VRTX and one in the 2nd? If not, any suggestions on how we might replicate some of the VMs between the clusters for disaster recovery

Grateful for any advice

Bob

Already-in-use,

It is possible, and even recommended, that there be 2 separate units to be in different physical locations, as it increases redundancy if a site goes down. You can get more details on cluster to cluster storage replication with 2016 here and here. Now this is for OS based replication, if you in fact are using shared storage then it will be a different process, as well as licensing.

Hope this helps.
