Adding Unity to Existing RecoverPoint cluster (Having VNX 5800)

Question

Hello All, I am having RP EX License on VNX 5800 which is a DR site and is already connected to a RecoverPoint cluster. We intend to add another Unity array to this cluster , which will also have an RP EX license. I wanted help to understand if there are any issues having this configuration ? Also what are the steps required to add the Unity array to the existing RecoverPoint cluster ? Thanks In advance!

No issues. Just zone the RPAs to the Unity array and they will auto-register. You may not see the Unity array as a splitter in the UI until you mask at least one volume to the RPAs. You will not see the Unity array as registered storage.
