Another Cluster Connect Wizard question

All, I am trying to connect 2 new RP/SE 4.0 clusters together using the DM CCW, but any time I try it, it errors, saying that there is an issue with WAN communication between the 2 clusters.

The setup is relatively simple in that each LAN and WAN are both on the same IP subnet, albeit each cluster is is on a different site, and hence, subnet, but can communicate across the link via the default gateway.

I can SSH to all 4 appliances using either the LAN or WAN IP address, and all checks on each node indicate that the WAN link is up and OK.

Since the LAN and WAN are on the same subnet, do they share the default gateway set for the LAN ports? I'm assuming that if they were on different subnets, a WAN default gateway would need to be declared, but in my case, will the WAN use the LAN's default gateway?

Thanks in advance

Alan
