The version of NX-OS is not dependent on RecoverPoint versions, however if you are looking to validate that the version of MDS code you are running is a supported EMC code using the Connectrix MDS series, your best place to validate would be Elab Navigator and use the advanced query for switches:
There are target releases for each switch and then other supported releases. From a quikc glance it looks like these are the supported NX-OS versions for a 9148:
The Target releases for the MDS 9148 seem to be this:
Target Releases are the recommended firmware versions to deploy because they are built upon mature and stable code streams with the most recently resolved defects. At this time, this is the list of Target Releases that are only specified for Connectrix C-Series (Cisco) MDS Directors and Switches:
