RecoverPoint 4.0. Box Gen 5 unable to reinstall

Hello,

We have troubles with Recoverpoint gen5. When we tried to initialize the RP, we losed all ethernet connections and we are not able to log in the machine (using screen+keyboard).

Now, we are trying to reinstall soft with RP Iso, but for that, we need to initialize the virtual disk. The problem is when we press "ctrl+g" to enter in Raid utility because this one doesn't charge anything.... So the question is, how we can initialize the disk?? we tried without initialize new volume but the old configuration remains and we are not able to do anything else.

We tried all options about "usb legacy" and "port 60/64" but without success.

Anyone can explain how to access to the raid utility? Thanks!

Reboot the RPA and press CTRL+R. Re-initialize the virtual disk. Insert the DVD and reboot the RPA.

Hello, "ctrl+r" was in gen 4. In gen 5 its "ctrl+g" but doesn't do anything. Im not able to access to raid utility. I think we will send RP to EMC again... Its something wrong with the machine.

Ah, that's right. Forgot about that. It is CTRL+G. Thanks.
