Hi Arsalan,

Try logging on to RecoverPoint via the Cluster IP address or any RPA as security-admin. If you're successful then run the unlock_user command.

Richard

Thanks for your quick response.

but i haven't established a cluster yet. all RPAs are standalone.

should i have to make cluster and then run security-admin.\

currently i'm using boxmgmt to assign temporary management ip to RPA, and then trying to log into RPA with that IP. is this procedure correct...??? are these predefined account also get locked if we enter wrong password 3 times.

or can i log into any predefined account using direct attached monitor and keyboard...???

If you don't have a running cluster, admin account is blocked and there is no GUI.  You can only use boxmgmt using a monitor and a keyboard.  Once you assign IP address, you can also log in as boxmgmt via SSH.  After that you should run Deployment Manager to deploy your cluster.  Today, this is done by EMC or partners only (not a customer activity).

You will need to deploy the cluster first before you can use the admin account.
