Replication of VM with RDM through SRM

Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask you for advice about replication and a DR test with RDM volumes.
Let's assume we have 10 VMs with 5 RDM devices.
The replication of these VMs is done through RecoverPoint.
SRM takes care of the start of the VMs on the disaster site.
What do you think is the best method to start and replicate VMs with RDM?
Create a CG on RecoverPoint with only the RDMs and another CG with the LUNs where the VMs reside and link them through a Groupset?
Or do you have other ideas?
Thanks again,
Jacopo

There are few options but at the end of the day, consistency is key. This can be achieved using CGs or Group Sets w/ parallel bookmarking. For Group Sets, note that SRM cannot test/failover a group set (and it cannot guarentee one of these bookmarks are used unless VSI for RP management is used), only CG so I would advise to use CGs here and to plan the CG fanout to best suit performance (production write workload), consistency. Then SRM configuration would need to be set accordingly.
