AutoStart 5.3 Console Unable to connect to agent

We are having a weird problem with one of our nodes. When you load the console and attempt to connect to the domain, the event log is saying "Primary agent "domain" not found: Unable to connect to the agent". I have restarted the agent service with no problems, but attempting to connect to this node just won't work.

Any ideas?

Is a machine connecting a console the machine which AutoStart is installed in?

The console I am opening is on Node 1 with AutoStart installed. Right now the second node in the cluster is saying that node 1's agent is in a failed state (the Agent service is running, and I have already restarted the service several times). All of the services on Node 1 are still functional (it is a DB server), and in AutoStart, the Resource Group is assigned to Node 1.

Ended up calling support on this one. Turns out there was an extra ftbackbone.exe process running that would not shut down. Had to stop the Backbone service, then kill the extra running process of ftbackbone.exe, then restarted the Backbone and Agent services.
