Backups not working after Upgrade to Windows 2003 SP2

Just upgraded all our exchange servers which are being backup via Replication Manager to Windows 2003 SP2.

Since doing this all the replications jobs are failing, up until then they have been working fine.

Currenty on version 3.1.0.3 and the error recieved is

"connect has failed with error number 10060 as follows:A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.."

followed by

"Failed to establish a connection to host servername - verify that the IRCCD process is running on port 6544 of this host."

This appears to be when it has finished creating the new snapshot of the lun and then trying to unmount the previous nights snapshot and mount the new one.

cheers

Sorted it, the Windows firewall had been re-enabled with the install of SP2, disabled it and away we go.

Hi Darren,
Hope all is well.
Good troubleshooting there :)

Just FYI - Windows 2003 SP2 is not yet supported by Replication Manager.

It is due to be qualified by June of this year.

Regards
James
