Blocked file are almost always caused by RepliStor being denied access to update or replace files on the Target node. There are various reasons why this might happen. For example, if the file is a database file and the Database Service is executing an exclusive lock on the file. Another typical reason is if the file is being managed by another application like DiskXtender and the files have been placed under a Retention rule.

The bottom line is unless we know why the file is locked by another process we can’t help resolve the issue.

If either of the above reasons are in effect on your Target node I recommend you open an EMC Service Request. If you can provide more specific information what kind of files are blocked and whether there is another application which could be using the files we may be able to help further in this open forum.
