Pervasive SQL

We are installing our first Replistor configuration and plan to move to a WAN shortly but we wanted to get everything up and tested locally. Reading through the manual I understand the concepts but there is nothing when working with a SQL that is not Microsoft, is there anything specific for a non-microsoft SQL configuration?

I've done a search on Pervasive in the forums and the KB but haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

HA can be composed only of making a virtual host.

A special configuration is not needed.

To my understaning replicating SQL should not be a trouble for replistor but it would not give you high availability solution for other SQL server than from Microsoft.

Hi,Rajan

Cluster construction is possible in the following procedure.

Making of Alias

Making of the virtual IP

Addition of Pervasive SQL Service

RepliStor supports all files written in on NTFS.

In addition, I have the experience that built a cluster of PervasiveSQL in AutoStart, CoStandbyServer2000.

Thanks for the reply, that confirms my understanding. I will need to create an alias failover and make sure that I'm replicating all data and services related to the Pervasive SQL.

Thanks
