Replistor warning messages

We get these messages almost daily showing up in replistor.  Can someone explain why we're getting these and what they mean???

Windows-text: 32 - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

If we run the incremental synch, everything looks fine.  But not sure exactly why we get these messages.

These are actual images stored in a FileNet system.  I don't think there are any temporary files?  Each day, we write about 10,000 images to the hard drive and they get replicated to another site.  But, we only get 2/3 of these errors daily.  So if these are temporary files, then I'd expect to get 10,000 temporary messages?

Hi,

Probably are not these files files made temporarily?

The temporary file is read by kernel cash, and there is the thing that it is deleted when RepliStor transmit a file.

Therefore there is the thing that these messages are displayed.

For example, there is the thing that the same phenomenon occurs by Office word or Excel.

At the time of mirroring, this message is not displayed.

Hi,

A peculiar object class is generated in FileNet automatically.

Therefore, the object class might not be transmitted in RepliStor.

-----------------------------------------------

RepliStor replicates many types of data, including:
◆ File data, including all alternate data streams.
◆ Permissions, either by copying the SID or a text representation of
the account (optional).
◆ Attributes (optional):
• Read-only
• Hidden
• System
• Directory
• Archive
• Sparse
• Compressed
• Encrypted
◆ File times (optional):
• Last Modified Time
• Last Write Time
• Create Time
◆ Extended attributes

Hi,

Therefore there is a possibility that the object class of the file cannot synchronize even if the file can synchronize.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand your meaning?  Basically I'm replicating tiff images stored in a Windows file system, although the structure of how the images are stored is based on the FileNet architecture.  Which, I don't think creates any problem since I can see both sites have the same exact number of files.

I was wondering if the error messages are due to intermittent network errors or something like that.  if anyone has such experience, let me know.

Is the object class you're referring to a file system file/folder?  I believe Replistor can replicate any file/folder in a Windows file system?

Hi,

Conversation with you deviates.

You should investigate each warning event.
