So far I just needed to use SNMP functionality once, and I found out as well that Autostart will not send out any SNMP traps by itself once you fill in the SNMP fields with the required info. ft&SendSNMPTrap() function does work though, but in order to use it, you will have to write a rule (perl script) and a set of triggers to drive that rule in order to send out the stuff you want. You can find more in the 'programming guide' document. It is not that difficult to do, but it is best left to someone who has some experience with rules...
