Failed: Configure SDC driver on ESX
Hello Community,
I'm receiving the following error when attempting to complete my ScaleIO deployment: "Failed: Configure SDC driver on ESX (The SDC cannot communicate with the MDM cluster. Verify vmkernel and/or portgroup settings.)" All other operations have completed without error.
I have verified communication between the ESXi hosts and the MDM cluster, everything can each each other. I have attached the log for reference. I have also attached the iSCSI and Networking screenshots to show the configuration there.
As far as I can tell, every component can ping every other component... Unless there is something going on with the VMKernel Ports, but as far as I can tell they are also working properly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Alex

1. Was the ESXi rebooted after installing SDC component?
2. Can you run the following command by SSH to the ESXi and verify that the Correct MDM IP addresses are listed:-
esxcli system module parameters list -m scini

Hello everyone. Thanks for your comments and recommendations. The problem was indeed the incorrect MDM IPs were somehow configured on each ESXi host. Upon fixing the IPs, configuration completed successfully and I was able to wrap up the initial install.
I'm now running into another problem. I have looked over the support site, but so far (probably by search syntax failure) have not been able to find a similar support case. When I log into my MDM, it's showing 7/8 SDCs as disconnected. I have been unable to find a process/procedure anywhere on how to remedy this and restore access to the SDCs. Might anyone be able to point me in the correct direction?
Output from SSH session:

The GUIDs of the disconnected SDC nodes are all set to "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000"
To correct this , generate a unique GUID for each SDC nodes and configure the SDC using the cmds below:
1.Generate a GUID for the SDC, can be done on: http://www.guidgen.com
2.Configure the SDC: esxcli system module parameters set -m scini -p "IoctlIniGuidStr= IoctlMdmIPStr= "
3.Load the SDC module: esxcli system module load –m scini
4.Reboot the ESXi host

d3eG9mU0E11213291630494,
Are the SDCs communicating successfully with the volumes? If so, then this is cosmetic.
If not, then verify the SDC config and IP connectivity to the MDMs and SDSes with ping.
The steps are available at https://support.emc.com/kb/466097.
