Unable to update ESRS VE from 3.04 to 3.18. Is there a way to update without having to redeploy a new VM?
My current ESRS VE is at 3.04.00.08. I need to update it to 3.18.x. However, when i click on Update Tab and Download, it doesn't go any further and will not show the new download available.
I spoke to Engg and they asked me to redeploy a new VM with the latest version. I do not want to do that. Is there any other to update it to the latest version?

ESRS failed to upgrade version 3.08.20.00
try this : connect in SSH on your esrs vm and type this command :
zypper repos -d
to view the repositories
If devel_gcc is enabled you should disable it. zypper modifyrepo -d devel_gcc
After that you should try again to download the update through the GUI.

Please could you check if your ESRS server is connected to the esrs-core.emc.com or esrs3-core.emc.com? You can check it via Web UI.
All the upgrade on the old infrastructure esrs-core.emc.com are disabled.
If is this the case you can do two things:
1 Reinstall the ESRS server using the last version of ESRS VE
2 You can open a Service Request asking for a migration of the server ESRS on the new infrastructure esrs3-core.emc.com and after you can upgrade it.

I'm also having this same problem trying to update my SRS from 3.16.00.08 to 3.38.00.12. I can get to the VE Admin screen hit the download button and nothing happens.
