SourceOne 6.8 and IPv6

Hi,

Is SO compatible with IPv6, and can I assign IPv6 address to a server besides existing IPv4 one? I would like to enable it for our laptop users with Microsoft DirectAccess, without using NAT64 to translate addresses.

I could not find a single mention of it in the SO docs or forums — does it mean it's not supported?

Environment:

- A single SO 6.8.0.4127 server on vSphere ESXi 5.0,

- Offline Access clients deployed,

- EmailXtender in co-existance mode,

- Exchange 2010 SP2.

Best regards,

Kaspars

SourceOne and EmailXtender do not care about the IP. You can use IPv4 or IPv6. The server names are what are the most important.

SourceOne should be agnostic to IPv6.

Yes, I supposed so too. But if no one here knows for sure, I think I'd better ask the Tech support an 'official permission', just in case. Thanks!
