48x DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo drive.
The CD RW drive in my Dimension 4600 has finally given out.
Is this drive (part no. 429-13094) an O.K. replacement, or should I go for something else?

I believe you provided a wrong part number. It shoudl be Dell part# XXX-XXXX

Your system can use any standard IDE drive from a seller of your
choice. You are not limited to Dell.
