Booting to wrong partition.
I'm hoping somebody can help me with this...
A friend of mine dropped off his comp for me to look at because he keeps getting a "low disc space" message even though he has over 250gb of free space on his HD. After looking at it, I saw that his comp is booting to his E drive, which is a partition of the C drive. How do I get it to boot directly to the C drive?
Thanks....

Hi, Maxim:
Although I'm sure you're not giving the entire story, the problem is that the boot.ini file is improperly configured. This article can show you how to fix this problem:

The alternative is to reinstall the OS.

Hi osprey4,
Thanks for the link. I'll give it a try and see what happens. I'll probably end up reformatting, but I was hoping to avoid it. Thanks again!
Cheers.....
