Burning/Video Playback problems since updating to new 'fixed' drivers for TSST-L632H

Hi Guys,

Since I updated my drivers my DVD playback has been terrible, and it takes 30-45 minutes to burn a CD.

Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm pretty choked, I would rollback my drivers but then iTunes would stop working.

The problem is " Primary IDE Controller -- DMA if Available -- PIO Mode ".
In the Device manager, right click the Primary IDE Controler and select
Uninstall, then restart the system.

Check that the drive is in Ultra DMA Mode 2 and not PIO mode.

Start | Control Panel | System in classic view | Hardware tab | Device Manager

Click on the (+) next to IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.  Right-click the channel for the
drive and select Properties.  Click the Advanced Settings tab.

The Transfer Mode should be DMA if available and below that,
Current Transfer Mode should be Ultra mode DMA 2.

For some reason I don't have a Primary and Secondary IDE

My ATAPI controller list goes

Serial ATA Storage Controller

Ultra ATA Storage Controller

Primary IDE Controller -- DMA if Available -- Ultra DMA 5

Primary IDE Controller -- DMA if Available -- PIO Mode

Ricoh Memory Stick Controller

blah blah blah
