CD/DVD

I have an XPS 1330 recently bought so I am still trying to grow with it. Operating system is Windows Vista. Another reason to try to grow with it. I have burned files before, transferring old files from my old system to this new one, and worked okay. Now I'm trying to burn music from Media Player but have been unsuccessful. Out of 20 songs, it randomly burns 10 songs. Tried it twice already but still same result. I get that x beside the title and the error details say:

Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait for the current task to finish. If necessary, verify that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver.

There is noting wrong with the songs considering it burns them randomly. Then I tried Roxio, and amazingly this worked! All 20 songs! Why is that??? Why can't my media player burn all songs?

Please advise.

Thanks,

iggydg
