Can I upgrade my CD/DVD drive to a Blu Ray in my Insipron 14r?
Exactly as the title says.
I recently (a few months ago) purchased an Insipron 14r and it has the standard CD/DVD drive and I would like to see if I can put in a Blu Ray drive.
Is this something I can do myself or is this something I need to have Dell do or something someone else needs to do (like Geek Squad)?
Any help is appreciated!

I found a model CT30N that is a BD-ROM, DVD burner. You could try Dell spare parts but I see plenty on Ebay for under $60.

so this is something I can do myself?
do I need any special tools?
what about software, do I need that too?

You need a 'plastic scribe,' which is a pointed plastic rod.
