DVD Drive is not Detected...!
Dear,
Just two months back I purchased a Studio 14 Laptop. The only problem I am facing with my Lap is sometimes the DVD Drive is not detected in MY COMPUTER. Once the Booting is done, after 3 to 4 minutes the System will get struck with a horrible sound for 2 min, then the DVD Drive will be disappeared from MY COMPUTER.
I have tried deleting the Registry Informations, but still I am facing the same.
Plz someone assist me in this regard.

Hi, Suresh:
Run the Dell diagnostics on your CD drive. There is a good chance the drive either has failed or is in the process of failing. If the diagnostics do not detect the drive, try to remove and reinsert it. If the drive is still not detected, I'm almost certain the drive is bad and should be replaced by Dell.
