DVD Internal drives that fit Dell Dimension 2400
Hello Everybody, I am interested in installing a new DVD +- RW DL drive in my Dimension 2400. How can I find out what drives will fit Dell. Is there a page that Dell list these? By manufacturers etc.? What about master/slave? Thank you!

Your machine takes standard 5.25" IDE drives. Any drive that is not SATA should work. You don't need to buy from Dell.
You normally set the drives to CS (cable select) which means the master/slave is determined by cabled position.
