Dell Inspiron 15R 5521, 1 TB Hard Drive - S-L-O-W
I've see response time on Resource Monitor of over 8,000 ms (8 sec. !!!)
Computer is always slow, task manager show hard drive usually at 100%.
What's going on? How can I debug this problem.
Ran self test (Dell) and it times out several times ("This test is taking longer than expected"). Killed the test. Who knows how long it will run?
Is this "large drive" (1 TB) at the expense of performance?

We see that even though its a 1 TB hard driver there could be a possibility that it could be corrupt operating system or a Hard drive. We would suggest that you run and ePSA test on the system .The link will give the instruction of the test :http://www.dell.com/support/Article/us/en/04/266787
