Dell's Partitions on my Solid State Drive
I just ordered & received my new Dell XPS 8700 Special Edition Desktop System
Besides my C:/ Drive, there are 4 other partitions put there by Dell as follows:
EFI System Partition 500 MB
OEM Partition 40 MB
Recovery Partition 750 MB
Recovery Partition 10.93 GB
ALL 4 of these partitions show 100% Free Space
QUESTIONS:
What exactly are each of these partitions for & what do they contain?
If each of these partitions does contain something, why do all 4 show that 100% of the space is free?

Hi Donald357,
This question gets asked a lot. There's a good explanation here.
Good luck with the new system!

The explanation you linked to is a GREAT explanation.
THANKS for your help.
Just wanted to correct something in my original post.
The 2nd Recovery Partition is 10.93 GB & NOT the 10.93 MB I noted - just in case someone else reads this.
THANKS again for your help.
