Hi Davidmad,
I very much doubt any special driver is needed for a hard drive. Perhaps you're experiencing some problem installing a new hard drive?

Hey there DavidMad :)
Computers usually have problems with larger than 2TB drives due to the lack of UEFI/GPT support. You shouldn't have problems with 2TB drives as they can operate on both new and old systems.
What are the problems that you are experiencing? Have you installed the drive yet? Are you able to see it in BIOS, Device Manager or Disk Management?
In order to see a new drive in My Computer and to be able to use it you would need to initialize it and then partition and format it. :)
