ERROR CODE 0F00: 1344

A week ago I accidentally switched off the power from my computer when it was still on. When I resetted the pc a blue screen appeared saying there was something wrong. After having scanned the pc the following error occured. ERROR CODE 0F00: 1344 MSG 3315121 Uncorrectable data error or media is write protected. 1 of the 2 hard disks each containing 149 gigabytes was damaged. What can I do??? The 2 disks are taken together as 1 disk with 298 gigabytes... Is it possible to divide this 1 disk into 2 seperate disks? And is it possible to save the first disk, knowing that this one isn't damaged...

One of the drives has damage to the media and must be replaced. Unfortunately, since this is RAID 0, there's not much you can do - the integrity of the system depends on both drives.

If you can still get it to boot, back up immediately. If not, and you need the data (which is actually spread over both drives), DO NOT FIDDLE WITH IT FURTHER. Contact a data recovery service - be prepared, however, for a big bill (and you'll need to provide them both drives).

Once you replace the drive, rebuild the system on separate drives, or on RAID 1, not RAID 0.
