You need to replace the failed hard drive, as there should be a warranty, contact Dell for a replacement.

When a hard drive of a RAID 0 array fails, all the data on the drives can not be recovered, because every file had been striped across both hard drives and does not provide for any redundancy, making the data unrecoverable.

Regards to a refund, you will need to contact Dell about this, but as the system is a month old, I think it will be an exercise in futility.

No, you don't need to replace both drives - but because of RAID 0, you will lose all the data on both drives when you replace the one drive that has failed.

The last time I had a drive fail in an array, Dell replaced both the drives, this was several years ago, Dell may have changed their policies.

If you are buying the replacement, as Ejn63 stated, you only need to replace the fail drive.
