Getting low disk space message on D:recovery
I have a Dell XPS laptop. I am getting the low disk space message for the D: recovery drive. There is only 39 megs left out of 449 megs.I have read some of the threads in this forum I have tried some of the suggestions but space has not been freed up.
There are 3 folders on the drive , Recycle bin, Recovery and System Volume Information. Recycle Bin is empty. System Volume info is empty. Recovery has 4 files and about 400 megs in it which seems to be taking up most of the space on the drive. There is one file Winre.wim which is about 400 megs.
How do i fix this problem?

This is a common problem since the 1803 update. D is a tiny partition that is supposed to be hidden. You cannot access it and should not be able to see it. There is a fix in this thread. See the solution and follow the directions to remove the letter designation.
