Help!!! Data Recovery from HDD

Hi,

My DELL laptop (inspiron 1564) has crashed and Dell support has asked me to arrange for HDD data backup before sending it for repair. To copy files/pictures from HDD, I have removed the HDD from under the back panel (HDD is Samsung SATA, 2.5inch 250GB, 5400RPM model no HM250HI). I want to connect this to another desktop to copy the current data in it and place it back into the laptop before sending for repair.

My question is that will this HDD fit into any standard 2.5" external HDD enclosure available in market for 2.5" SATA drives. Or every make and/or model of SATA hard drive will fit into their specific external enclosure? Shall I go ahead and order a 2.5" SATA HDD enclosure with USB port to access this HDD files from another computer?

Many Thanks and will appreciate suggestions for ways to copy files from HDD
