Hi. Newbie her with a problem on my Latitude C600.

Ok, my daughter loves using her Laptop. It won't charge or power up at all while plugged into the AC adapter. After running some troubleshooting through Dell, they told me it was the motherboard. Two questions, where and which motherboard to get? Two, how hard to change this? Ok, that was three. Thanks in advance!

The boards are inexpensive: http://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=1274&prevaction=category&previd=140&prevstart=60 Replacement is involved, but if you print the instructions and keep a map of where all the screws and other parts go, doable. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/latc600/sm_html/remove.htm#999704
