Inspiron 7000 17" SSD?
My Inspiron 7000 17" came configured with a single 512GB SSD.
From my understanding, I can add a second SSD for more storage. Which drives can I use?
Is this compatible? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IAGSDUE/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Thanks in anticipation!

Not all of these are of the same design. We need the full model number (7778, 7759, etc.) to tell you for certain.

So I can't know if it has M.2 card or a 2.5" drive without opening it up?
Edit: Here's what I see in Device Manager: Liteon CV3-CE512-11 SATA 512GB
Here's what Google tells me: http://www.liteonssd.com/product/client-sata-ssd/18q25q-sata/cv3-series.html
Which leads me to believe that it has a 2.5" drive installed, so I need an M.2 drive.

Check:
1. That the 2.5" drive bay is open AND that there's a bracket in there -- if the system shipped with an M.2 (card format) SSD, you can add a 2.5" SSD or hard drive but may also need to purchase the bracket for it (the system probably shipped without the bracket if it came with an M.2 SSD).
2. If there's a 2.5" SSD in the system now, the one you add will need to be an M.2 card format drive.
The system will take one M.2 card and one 2.5" drive.

That's a 2.5" drive, so it sits in the hard drive bay.
If you want to add another, it needs to be card format (M.2) drive and I believe it needs to be PCIe (NOT SATA) -- these are generally a bit more expensive than 2.5" drives, but it's the only upgrade option.
