Intel IRRT driver for Win 7 64bit Dell XPS 9000
Where can I get the latest Intel IRRT driver for a Crucial MX100 512GB ssd that is to be installed in a Dell XPS 9000 as the boot drive? Net discussions say it is needed to allow Windows update to work after installing the ssd.

Hi Scott,
I believe you're referring to the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver (Intel RST). If you are installing Windows 7 using the Dell reinstallation disc, you do not need this for the installation but you can install it afterward.
You should go to the Support drivers page for the most current drivers for your system. And let me refer you to the Windows reinstallation guide linked to below.
