Is the 250GB WD Scorpio IDE HDD (WD2500BEVE) compatible with the Latitude D810?

The physical size should be OK according to the specification, the only question is if the BIOS will have any problem with recognizing it correctly?

I have used 160gb in a D810 and that is more than the 137gb limit on older computers. You should be fine with your 250gb HDD size with the latest BIOS Version.

Well, I decided to buy the HDD mentioned in the topic, and I can confirm that it is compatible with the D810.
