Msg: hard drive 0, short self test unsuccessful

Hi,

I have Dell inspiron 5720 i have issue with this error i am able to boot in windows without any problem but when i run diagnostic using from bootmenu using f12 all things pass but hard rive giving me error anyone suggest any solution.

If the error is 2000-0142, replace the drive, which is failing.

This problem is often fictitious, it's the fault to create a Dell INSUFFICIENT installation of a different operating system than the company installed.
GPT disk conversion to MBR and vice versa did not help. Only the system installation from Dell worked.
No laptop buyer from Dell signed a perpetual usufruct agreement for their chosen system.
