My DVD/CD drive won't turn on (code 10)
Can anyone tell me what to do to enable it to turn on again? Tnx.

Hi, Kissen:
I assume you are getting an error such as, "this device cannot start." This indicates a problem with the infamous upper and lower filters. Please go to the CD/DVD FAQ (link below) and follow the instructions for a "code 39 error". There is one set of instructions for XP and another for Vista. Make sure you follow the instructions that correspond to your operating system.
