PowerDVD DX 8.3.1.6107 Error Message

I have been having the following problem when trying to play a blueray Disc.

"A critical component of the blueray disc player requires periodic updates. New movies may not play if the critical component is no updated promptly. The update is downloaded from the internet, if an internet connection is available or you can request an updated disc from Dell Support"

I select the update function but all that comes back is no updates available... so the blueray cannot be played... works just fine with DVD's
