Roxio CD creator 5 write error E80041899 & Trackwriter error E80041925
I'm tring to backup my data using Roxio Easy CD 5.3.4.1. It appears to be working, but ejects the burned CD and gives the above error message. When I try to read the burned CD a few of the files are there, but most can't be read.
Dell had me drag and drop the files to the burner and that worked fine so it's not a burner problem.
I've Removed Roxio and used there Roxio Zap, then reinstalled Roxio with the latest update. It still won't work.
I have the SP2 update installed and didn't have the problem before.

Since it is no longer supported by ROXIO, there is no update to deal
with XP SP2. See this ...............

When I tried to go to the web site it said it timed out. Can you send another way to get there?
Thanks

I don't have a problem with creating and burning CD or DVD data projects, XP SP2, Easy CD creator basic 5.3.5.17.
I suggest you update to that version from

Go here and in the Search Box enter SP2 and it should go to the Article.

Easy CD creator 5 does work for some people with SP2 and not for others.
Perhaps some other particular differences in different systems interfere
with it. It is not really clear. Most SP2 folks are having problems
with it and, unfortunately, ROXIO is not going to invest in correcting
the situation. If parts work for you that is good, for some it is a total
loss.
