Hi Redlegs888,
Probably not two months out of warranty. Two days, maybe. Is the drive still running ok? I've had drives with SMART failures work fine for quite a while, but you'll definitely want to make sure you've got a backup image of your drive.

nah
son uses it didnt back it up. failed. now having to pay for his data recovery as it is his final year school project. a real hassle

Sorry to hear about that. It's an expensive lesson to learn how cheap it is to back up important files regularly.
