Studio 15 sata2 problem
I have replaced my old drive wdc2500bevs with seagate st9250421as and can not have it work it in sata2 mode.There is no jumper on the back of the drive.Matrix storage manager shows my hd sata1 and even i try many things re-installing
vista and reinstalling driver still same.Any recomendation would really help.Thanks in advanced for any replies.

It makes no difference. A 7200 rpm notebook drive will deliver a max of 70 MBps and only in burst mode - well under what half of what SATA150 supports. SATA3G makes a performance difference only for an array of striped drives - for any single drive there's no difference between the first and second generation SATA interfaces.

thanks for your quick response But my drive already reaches 91 mb \sec I all want is why intel storage manager reconize my disk as sata1 even i have 82801 hem ich8m sata controller.
