Vostro 230 Slim, Win 7, Hard Disk Error
I received error 2000-0146 indicating failing/failed HD. I purchased and installed a new HD from Dell using my Service Tag, reinstalled Win 7 but for some reason, my network drivers were not installed - the system just says that it can't find the device! I have downloaded the drivers from Dell, tried a completely different Win 7 disk, same result. How do I get even the wireless driver installed? The 230 slim has one board, so it's not like I can just pop in a new network card. Thanks in advance folks.

Hi Darkfellow,
Please refer to the Windows install guide I've linked to below. There are instructions on the correct order for installing drivers. Specifically, the chipset drivers are normally installed first, since otherwise the OS cannot properly identify devices.
