Windows 8.1 Setup not seeing Samsung SSD 840 PRO on Dell Vostro 3460

Doing a fresh install of Windows 8.1 x64 Enterprise from DVD. Only disk connected to the Dell Vostro 3460 is the Samsung SSD 840 PRO. Get the message "Load Driver = A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD, or USB Flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now". Overall thats where it gets stuck. Next is disabled.

Tried...

a) Downloaded the latest driver via the Dell.com downloads website. It scans the with the driver but then tells me that no media devices were found.

b) Changing the BIOS settings by changing the SATA to ACHI.

c) Doing the SHIFT+F10 when in windows setup and running the DISKPART command to clean the two partitions I see on the Samsung SSD.

What else can I try? The BIOS sees the Samsung SSD but the Windows 8.1 setup is not seeing it.
