XPS 8500 with SSD cache set from factory; fresh install windows 7 on "New hard drive" after failure.

XPS 8500 with SSD cache set from factory...

Issue: Replaced old hard drive, Fresh install of Windows 7 and now the SSD is SHOWEN as a drive and not as the cache. Intel smart tech does not "SHOW" that it can be accelerated under advance setting.

Have researched all conceivable user manuals and DELL does not give a "step by step" how to guide for this type of reinstall.  Dell "states" to install the SDD (not physically) but does not tell you how to do it in windows 7 setup-"at what point" or the parameters -lame or the correct bios setting.

Have followed Dell support pages information; but information is ether incorrect or downloads for flash as corrupted- system reports that flash "has no executable written files" Yet I can see the files and open them on the flash - but cannot install from windows 7 setup.

Where can I find the information "on how" this done, to reset the system "as it was" delivered from the factory?
