cd/dvd not working
i have a dimension 8400 and my cd/dvd drives are not working properly. i have uninstaled and instaled again but still tells me that they are missing or corrupted (code 39).i also tried to download the drivers from dell but nothing. can someone please help me solve this problem?

Try this Dell Article for removing the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters
in the Registry here .............
